Overview

Are you a clinical supervisor looking for a supportive professional community? The Supervisors' Connection Group is a monthly online CPD (Continuing Professional Development) group designed to help supervisors like you connect with peers and colleagues, reflect on your own experiences and those of others, and enhance your skills and practice.

Facilitated by Andy Williams, TSTA(P), this group offers a welcoming, confidential space where you can share, learn, and grow as a supervisor.

Joining our Supervisors' Connection Group can elevate your supervisory practice in many ways:

Safe Space: A confidential and safe space where you can openly discuss challenges and successes. Everything shared in the group stays within the group, so you can speak freely and get honest feedback.
Build Connections: Connect with fellow supervisors from all modalities. Collaborate, share insights, and build a network of trusted colleagues.
Reflective Learning: Take dedicated time to reflect on your supervision practice. Discuss real cases, ask questions, and gain insights from others’ experiences in a facilitated environment. This reflective process will help you develop new perspectives on your work.
Enhance Your Skills: Develop ideas and techniques to strengthen your practice. Whether it’s refining your approach to difficult supervision situations or taking on board creative ideas for future work, you will come away with tools and the confidence to being a more effective supervisor.

How to join the group

We’ve structured the group to be accessible no matter where you are and so all meetings are held online:

When: Second Friday of each month, 2:00–5:00 PM (London/UK time) - see Dates below. We will have informal breaks throughout.
Frequency: 10 sessions throughout the academic year - see the Dates section for full details
Cost: £75 per session (with the flexibility to attend each months' session as your schedule allows).

With sessions aimed at supporting you in your role as Supervisor, each month offers content and discussions, on a range of topics and issues that can help you develop your practice.

About the trainer

Andy Williams, TSTA(P), UKCP MBACP(Accred) MA (PG Dip. CBT) MSc

Andy is an experienced psychotherapist, trainer and supervisor of Transactional Analysis.

He has many years' experience running a clinical practice and a supervision practice.

He is committed to equipping and developing other professionals in their clinical, training and supervision practices.

Andy is passionate about creating a safe, enriching environment for supervisors to learn and support one another – and he looks forward to guiding you in your growth as a supervisor.
