About the event

Procrastination is often perceived negatively, viewed as laziness or a lack of discipline. However, the reality is that procrastination is a complex behaviour influenced by factors like fear of failure, perfectionism, or emotional regulation challenges.

For some, procrastination stems from being overwhelmed or having unclear priorities, while for others, it may reflect the brain seeking short-term rewards over long-term goals.

This workshop aims to demystify procrastination, exploring its underlying causes and the different forms it takes, while presenting motivation as a powerful antidote.  Through this session, participants will learn to identify the root causes of procrastination and recognise how it manifests in behaviours like delaying tasks, prioritising less important activities, or avoiding work altogether.
